5 th International Photocross Chamonix

Schedule

Monday 5th January :

4:30pm – Meet at the Savoy slope for a snowman-building competition with hot chocolate, prize-giving and entertainment – free entry to all children – in teams of 3 or 4.

7:30pm – Franco-Russian skiing and mountaineering films in the Salle du Bicentenaire.

Tuesday 6th January :

4:30pm Departure of the snow fairies from the Savoy slope.

5:30pm Arrival of the snow fairies and distribution of sweets and hot chocolate.

7:00pm Come and spend the evening in a unique and enchanted spot: the Grand Hôtel du Montenvers, at 1913 m altitude, travel up by rack and pinion railway. Dinner and entertainment. You can reserve your place at the Tourist Office on the 4th January. Price 90€, including a return trip on the train and dinner. Guaranteed surprises!

Wednesday 7th January: : Russian Christmas Day

10:00am Depart of the Photocross ; meeting for all the teams in front of the Tourist Office.

4:00pm Reception of all the photos at the Chamonix Tourist Office

Thursday 8th January:

1st start at 10:00am - Slalom open to all - organised by ESF : for serious or fun entrants at Planpraz. Registration at the Tourist Office from 4th Jan.

4:30 Exhibition of photos from the Photocross, in the Place Balmat.

6:00pm Prize-giving ceremony for the Photocross and slalom, mulled wine for everyone in the Place Balmat
